Karin comes to us with a background in retail and horticulture. First from a long, successful career at her family’s business, Vermeer’s Garden Centre in Welland, and most recently, she spent the last 5 years working as a horticultural therapist, through which she used plants for therapy. She also spent time as a garden coach, in which she helped create beautiful gardens for many clients here in the Niagara Region.

Karin has always had a passion for homes and gardens, as she has built, renovated, and created gorgeous garden spaces in several homes in the Niagara Region. She chose real estate as her second career path, because it allows her to use the customer service skills she acquired during her 30 years in the retail industry. She has always been interested in real estate, and now she is fortunate enough to do it for a living.
